Is the planning deposit refundable if I don’t book?
No. The deposit is non-refundable. We take pride in creating your vacation plan with excellence and as such, we spend ample time researching and comparing options to make sure you get the best possible value. Our work is based on years of personal experience and expertise. Our services stretch beyond booking engines, as we personalize each request; researching cruises, hotels and tours to meet your lifestyle, contacting suppliers, coordinating transportation, and drafting itineraries. If you choose not to book with us, your deposit is retained as services rendered.
Is the planning deposit applied to my final balance?
Yes. If you choose to move forward with booking your travel experience with us, we apply your deposit to your final balance as a credit.
Can my planning deposit be used towards my initial down payment?
No. The planning deposit is separate from the initial deposit vendors request to reserve your vacation. The planning deposit is for Changing Pace Travel services rendered for researching and creating your vacation plans.
How much will it cost to confirm my quote?
This price varies based on the vendor we use and the timeframe of your departure date and booking date. We will provide you with the deposit amount, due date and the final payment amount and due date in your quote.
How much time do I have before my quote changes?
Quotes are not confirmed reservations, they are estimated projections for your reference. Please remember itineraries and quotes are not held. Once you confirm that you want to secure your booking request, you will be instructed on the next steps. We will call you with any potential changes and the process for providing all required forms and your booking deposit.
What if I need to change my request?
All requests come with 2 quotes based on your selections. If you require a new quote, you will be asked to submit another deposit.
How many travelers does the planning fee cover?
It covers all travelers on your request. Each individual on your request is NOT required to submit a deposit. The deposit is requested per each quote submitted.
