CPT Cancellations
CPT reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary; including, but not limited to: CPT staffing assignments, advertised excursions, arranged transportation, advertised meals, etc. In the rare case of a CPT trip cancellation, CPT will offer a transfer to another CPT trip or a full refund of your payment to CPT. CPT is not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of trip cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses. CPT reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure in the event that there are too few people booked, in which case you will be given a full refund of any and all payments made to CPT. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damages (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, or departure, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes).
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Unfortunately, there are always situations and factors that may arise to cause you to cancel your travel experience. Changing Pace Travel (CPT) always recommends that you purchase Travel Insurance (even if it’s not through us) to safeguard your trip and secure your investment. Travel Insurance helps provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Interruption, Baggage Loss or Delay, Medical Expenses and more. Depending on the particular contract, there are usually fees and penalties involved with cancelling. CPT will assess those fees/penalties according to the particular contract/travel experience that you are on when resolving your cancellation request. Please check on the registration form (provided by CPT) if you accept or decline Insurance. We cannot book you without your response.
CPT recommends that you purchase a “Cancel for Any Reason” add-on policy to protect yourself if you are worried about potential pandemic impacts. We advise you to consult your policy holder on specific coverage questions prior to purchasing. Please keep in mind that most policies require purchase of this specific policy within a window of 10-14 days after your deposit has been made.
Changing Pace Travel will not be held responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience that may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control (ie: late arrival/departure of flights, civil disturbance, fire, flood, cyclones, severe weather, acts of God, and acts of government, machinery or equipment failure, or cancellations for any reason.) No refunds will be given for “no shows” or days not used resulting from the above aforementioned.
Travel Documents and Immunizations
It is the responsibility of each traveler to obtain all required travel documents including Visas unless otherwise noted. Information regarding necessary documentation is provided as necessary on our website or you can contact us for more detailed information. It is your responsibility to purchase correct immunizations. Please contact your nearest travel clinic for the latest requirements.
CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS: If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the provider, and not against Changing Pace Travel, and in the event that payment has been made to Changing Pace Travel by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to chargeback your payment to Changing Pace Travel. If the credit card is passed through to the travel services provider and you seek to chargeback your payment from the provider, you agree to be held liable and indemnify Changing Pace Travel against this chargeback from the provider, including without limitation any air debit memos charged to Changing Pace Travel. If Changing Pace Travel incurs any costs, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees to recover any payments charged back by your credit card company, you agree that you will be liable for these costs.
